Reform foes should give up health care
I believe that it is time for all of the "conservative patriots" who are so vocal about condemning health care reform to put down their "tea bags" and put their money where their mouths are.
Those who are seniors should immediately cancel their Medicare policies (A, B and D), veterans should cancel their VA benefits and others should urge their parents and family to cancel Medicare. Then, they should apply for medical insurance from one of the insurance companies whose profits they are trying so hard to protect.
It seems to me that it is hypocritical for these people to enjoy government-provided benefits while denying millions of people from getting any medical coverage.
In this economy, 250,000 people per month are losing their jobs and their employer-provided insurance.
It's hard to get coverage and pay for it with unemployment benefits. Maybe the solution is to give the insurance companies another tax break?
