Rookies to open new location

HOFFMAN ESTATES - Rookies Sports Pub & Grill is expected to open its third location this fall.

The sports bar and pub has other locations in St. Charles and Elgin. The company signed a lease for 5,148 square feet at Poplar Creek Crossing in Hoffman Estates, according to Oakbrook Terrace-based Mid-America Asset Management.

Village Squire Inc. owns the Rookies brand known for its burgers, sandwiches, salads, pizza and appetizers.

Village Squire also operates Village Squire restaurants in Dundee, Crystal Lake, McHenry and South Elgin as well as Alexander's in Elgin.
