Deficit takes priority over school supplies

The front page of the Saturday, Aug. 22, Daily Herald highlights an article about school supplies required by local schools.

On page two is an article about the addition of $2 trillion to the federal deficit announced by the Obama administration.

I believe reporting a $2 trillion deficit addition should take precedence over a school supply article.

Does the Daily Herald not want to highlight the money is no object attitude of the inexperienced, unqualified Obama administration?
