Kane County
• A man poured beer on a woman's head and yelled at her about 7:30 p.m. Friday after she confronted him about screeching his tires in front of her residence on the 100 block of French Road, Burlington Township, according to a police report.
• Several vehicle burglaries were reported late Wednesday and early Thursday in Campton Township, police said. An iPod and Garmin GPS valued at $500 total were reported stolen on the 5N400 block of Hazelwood Court. A Kenwood CD player and miscellaneous sound equipment valued at $729 were reported stolen on the 6N100 block of Prairie View Drive. A Garmin GPS and Hewlett Packard camera were among $1,100 in electronics and tools stolen on the 5N500 block of Hazelwood Court. And an iPod and a Blackberry Storm cell phone valued at $630 total were reported stolen on the 5N800 block of West Sunset Views Drive, according to police reports.
Batavia
• Two vehicles were burglarized between 7 p.m. Saturday and 6:30 a.m. Sunday in a parking lot in the 1300 block of Nagel Boulevard. A stereo was removed from one, according to police.
• Eggs and grapes were smashed on a house in the 1500 block of Kennedy Drive between 6 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. Sunday, police said.
• Edward A. Ranweiler, 88, of the 1500 block of Riverside Drive, St. Charles, was charged with retail theft at 3:45 p.m. Saturday, according to a police report. He is accused of taking plumbing items from Menards, 300 N. Randall Road.
