The Edge brings comedy to Crystal Lake and Duke's Alehouse

The Edge Comedy Club teams up with Duke's Alehouse and Kitchen for a series of Saturday night stand-up comedians in September. Comedians Dave Odd, Jeff Hansen and Ethan Peldo are featured this Saturday, when the kitchen stays open until 11 p.m.

Hugo's Frog Bar & Fish House is offering carrot-cake cupcakes for just $1 apiece from Monday, Sept. 7, through Sunday, Sept. 13. The cheap cupcakes are to help celebrate Hugo's new dessert menu which also features a muddy bottom pie.
