Cubs hold onto Harden, Heilman -- but what's next?
I arrived at Wrigley Field in good time to see Rich Harden's name listed as the starting pitcher for the Cubs tonight against Roy Oswalt and the Astros. As we blogged on an earlier spirited discussion (what other kind do we have around here?), neither Harden nor reliever Aaron Heilman is going anywhere.
The deadline passed for the Cubs to let Harden (Twins) and Heilman (Giants) go on waivers, make a trade or pull each pitcher back. The Cubs decided to pull each pitcher back by the noon Chicago time deadline.
Now the question becomes what to do with Harden this off-season
