Video gambling bad source of income

Congrats to the DuPage County Board for voting Aug. 11 to ban video gambling machines in unincorporated areas. This sends a message to Springfield politicians: Find a new source of revenue for your infrastructure construction program.

Wouldn't it be grand now if the incorporated communities within DuPage County would follow suit? Video gambling is a curse, and furthermore, a deplorable source of income for the state.
