What has Springfield done for us lately?

I am in 100 percent agreement with Robert Morgan of Elburn who recently wrote to Fence Post that the "do nothings" in Springfield should be thrown out. I recently sent e-mails to the four legislative leaders and my district senator and representative telling them how pathetic I thought their performance was.

Robert is right. They take our money and do nothing but spout the party line and raise money for their own re-election. If they had any pride or sense of shame, they all would resign and let us elect some responsible people who sincerely want to do the public's business. Since, of course, this is not going to happen, I say let's throw the rascals out.

When it's time, let's all get out and do it. Vote. Don't be fooled by the usual political trick of their throwing us a bone by some kind of phony "action" just before the election. Remember how it is now and has been for years.
