Passing bill means paying for abortions

There is a lot of talk about "spreading false information" regarding the health care bills. That is disingenuous.

The reality is that if we don't speak up BEFORE the vote, the "false" information will become law. If one were to take the time to actually read these lengthy bills, several things would be conspicuous BY THEIR ABSENCE.

Under the health care plan, as written now, virtually every American will eventually be in a plan that includes abortion by requiring individuals to buy health insurance that meets minimum benefits standards determined by nonelected government bureaucrats. If the law does not clearly state that abortion is excluded, abortion automatically becomes a minimum required benefit.

Americans don't support this and don't support paying for abortions. The health care bill amounts to a bailout for the abortion industry, which is swimming in profits as it is.

Taxpayers should not be forced to subsidize this industry. Since abortion is mandated in the health care bill, every insurance plan will have to cover it and provide means necessary to obtain an abortion.

Also, it circumvents the rights of conscience of health care providers and would force participation in morally objectionable actions. While you may have a legal right to an abortion, you have no right to compromise my job by forcing me to choose between your "right" and my conscience!

Tell Congress to vote no on the health care bill AS IT IS CURRENTLY WRITTEN. No one should be forced to pay for abortions.
