Bill Foster should have attended health care talk
On Aug. 13, 150 of Congressman Bill Foster's constituents attended his Neighborhood Office meeting. The vast majority of the attendees were strongly against universal health care and concerned about an exponentially growing government. Most people brought excerpts of HR 3200 and a few had complete, phone book-sized copies of the bill. The congressman was not present, only three of his staff members attended.
Tax payers are very concerned about Congressional Budget Office reports that this bill will add $1.6 trillion to our deficit. The president sells this bill by undermining current private health insurance and claiming that preventive care will increase. With such a radically systemic bill being debated, Congressman Bill Foster was not in attendance and not even in our country. Not attending is inexcusable and disrespectful to constituents. That is absentee representation and voters in 14th won't stand for it.
