Batavia teens can hang out at the Hub
The Batavia Teen Center, 27 N. Prairie St., is an exciting destination for Batavia teens to hang out, play games, watch movies, study and make new friends. The teen center's "Hub" features a pool table, air hockey, foosball, cable TV with movie library, video games, study resources and more.
Teen center membership is $10 for the 2009-10 school year. Teens can hang out at the "Hub" after school from 3 to 6 p.m. through Dec. 18. Admission is $2 per day, and free transportation will be available from Rotolo Middle School, 1501 S. Raddant Road, to the teen center.
Friday nights are reserved for "Teen Scenes" Listen to music, play sports, hang out with your friends or dance the night away. "Teen Scenes" are held from 6 to 9:30 p.m. on select Friday nights throughout the school year. Admission is $4, or you can purchase a Teen Scene Discount Card and get 10 punches for $25.
The Batavia Teen Center provides youth in sixth through 12th grades with positive service-based projects, recreational activities and social interactions while encouraging healthy decision making.
