14th District is more than Fermilab, Bill

Being a Democrat in Illinois certainly has its advantages with Barack Obama occupying the Oval Office. Last March, Bill Foster joined the ranks of Illinois Democrats serving in Washington and so far it has paid off for Foster.

Recently, Fermilab, Foster's previous employer, received $60.2 million in federal funding, with Fermilab estimating that 125 full-time on-site jobs will be created within the 14th District. While the sound of creating jobs sounds good to the constituents of the 14th District, rising taxes and increased government spending does not.

With $34.9 million in funding going to Fermilab earlier in the year, Foster has helped garner more than $95.1 million to advance his previous employer. If only Foster cared as much about the growing health care issue as he did funding Fermilab, his constituents would not be left asking, "Where's Bill?"
