GOP announces candidate for secretary of state

SPRINGFIELD -- Illinois Republicans say they've found someone willing to run for secretary of state.

Robert Enriquez plans to formally launch his campaign next week. Enriquez says he's an Aurora business consultant and former Marine.

Until now, no Republican had stepped forward to run against popular Democratic Secretary of State Jesse White.

Republicans still don't have a candidate for attorney general.
