Riddell extends helmet deal with NFL

ROSEMONT - Riddell Sports has signed a multiyear extension to its existing licensing agreement with the National Football League.

Riddell, which merged its holdings with Easton Sports in 2006 to form Easton-Bell Sports, will maintain its standing as the official helmet of the NFL through 2014.

Riddell has been the official helmet of the NFL since 1989.
