Siemens U.S. CEO to retire
NEW YORK - George Nolen, chief executive officer of Siemens AG's U.S. division will retire on Aug. 31, Europe's largest engineering company said Friday. Nolen 53, is retiring "at his own wish," Siemens spokesman Alexander Becker said. Peter Solmssen, 54-year-old Siemens executive board member responsible for the Americas region, will be acting president and CEO at Siemens Corp. until a successor is named, Becker said.
