Michael Phelps uninjured in 2-vehicle crash
BALTIMORE -- Baltimore police say Olympic gold medal swimmer Michael Phelps has been in a two-car collision but not injured.
Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi says Phelps was driving a late-model Cadillac Escalade Thursday night when it and a Honda Accord collided at an intersection near downtown Baltimore.
Guglielmi says the female driver of the Accord was "shaken up" and taken to a local hospital as a precaution.
He says two passengers in Phelps' car were not injured.
Guglielmi says Phelps has been interviewed by police and alcohol was not a factor.
Phelps won eight gold medals at the Beijing Olympics.
