Michael Jackson's glittery glove up for auction
LOS ANGELES -- A glittery glove that Michael Jackson wore when he unveiled his moonwalk on TV in 1983 will be on the auction block later this year.
Darren Julien of Julien's Auctions says the glove will be among the memorabilia offered at the Nov. 21 auction at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York's Times Square.
Jackson wore the left-handed glove, which accompanied his fedora and dance moves, when he performed on Motown's 25th-anniversary TV special. It's a modified, store-bought glove covered with a mesh of rhinestones.
The auction will also include an early Madonna demo tape and unreleased Jimi Hendrix lyrics.
