No wonder nation is in trouble

U.S. Rep. John Conyers said during an address at the National Press Club in Washington: "What good is reading the bill if it's a thousand pages and don't have two days and two lawyers to find out what it means after you read the bill?"

We should thank Rep. Conyers for being so honest about how the Democratic-controlled Congress is managing the legislation that it is producing. They don't read the bills that they write, and when they do they don't understand them.

Then the bills are signed by President Obama who is undoubtedly the most poorly qualified president in history. No wonder our country is in trouble.
