Is this really leadership?

The new president, who so enjoys the bully pulpit and media veneration, has exposed his arrogance and shrouded bigotry by involving himself in a local police matter of which he possessed no facts, except that one of the parties involved was black, and a friend.

His vocal outrage during a nationwide news conference was baseless, unjustified, and worst, an incitement to an already existing issue.

A white policeman, responding to a 911 call of a suspected home invasion, merely following protocol, is now accused of racism.

One wonders, if the officer refused to pursue the investigation, would he also be considered a racist, because the homeowner was black?

One would think the head of our country would use better judgment before causing such an unjustified firestorm in a local matter. Too bad he doesn't feel as strongly about the intentions of America's enemies.
