Bible is authority on homosexuality
During June, PBS aired programming sympathetic to the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender cause. The programming consisted, for the most part, of interviewees testifying that gay people are just like everybody else, which is true.
Homosexuals are, in fact, like the rest of us: sinners.
The programming, so often with the gay agenda, displaces reasoned argument that homosexuality is acceptable behavior with the ambiguous and emotional presentation that gay rights are guaranteed, yet withheld. Too, homosexuality is not necessarily discussed by the gay agenda, but same-sex marriage is.
But the debate is about homosexuality, which is not acceptable behavior, simply put, because it does not conform to physical order nor does it conform to Biblical order. It certainly does not conform to God's order.
If a homosexual argues they are performing what comes naturally to them I can only wonder what doors that would open for everybody else: to act our impulses with the expectation there can be no dissent about the act's acceptability (and it's affects on an increasingly interdependent society).
Love does not trump truth. If you disagree, I wonder if you are seeking man's approval- or God's.
