Gurnee man sought after disappearing from courthouse

A Cook County judge issued a warrant for a Gurnee man after he disappeared from court Monday.

Juan Bueno, 38, was arrested in February on charges of residential burglary related to incidents in southwest Mount Prospect.

Bueno was in the Rolling Meadows courthouse Monday morning and had asked for a delay in his pending trial.

Judge Thomas Fecarotta Jr. denied that request. Later that day, when Bueno's case was called again, he was nowhere to be found and the warrant was issued.
