Teen sensation Armiger coming to Gurnee Mills

Katie Armiger, the 17-year-old Texan who has created a sensation in Nashville, is on a mall tour of America that brings her to Gurnee Mills Friday. The country singer will be featuring tunes from her debut and her latest album, "Believe."

Ravinia plays host to a couple of notable oldies-but-goodies acts this week. The Temptations and the Four Tops are out on the road together again, but for the first time without the late Levi Stubbs. Then forever folkies Peter, Paul and Mary show up on Monday.

Breeders back
The Breeders, the hard-rocking sister act featuring twins Kim and Kelley Deal, are back together and back on the road, back in their expected Chicago stomping grounds of the Metro next week. They figure to be firing off "Cannonball," as well as material from their latest album, "Mountain Battles."
