Scouting report

Connecticut Sun (9-8) at Chicago Sky (9-10)

When: 7 p.m.

Where: UIC Pavilion

TV: NBA TV

Skinny: After posting an impressive win over Candace Parker and the Sparks, the Sky is hoping to end this homestand with a bang. After all, the next four games won't be easy. They're all on the road, where the Sky is 2-8. The Sun is 3-4 on the road but has already lost in Chicago, 78-75 on June 16. In that game, the Sun got double figures out of four players, including 16 points apiece from Asjha Jones and Tamika Whitmore. Meanwhile, the Sky overcame a 2-point performance from forward Candice Dupree (15 ppg), thanks to 25 points from guard Jia Perkins and 17 from center Sylvia Fowles. Dupree is coming off another sub-par game. She had just 2 points against the Sparks. The Sky will need her to get back to her old self as it looks to zero in on a playoff spot.

Next: Sky at Indiana Fever, 6 p.m. Wednesday
