No one certain on global warming

Don Loresch in a July 25 Fence Post rips anybody who dares think global warning might be a possibility. He is curious how anybody could possibly believe in global warming when we have had cool weather the past month. Did Mr. Loresch know that more than 90 percent of the world is actually experiencing a 3- to 4-degree temperature rise during this past summer?

Did his extensive research turn up that the U.S. is one of the few places in the entire world where the temperature has been cooler? He criticizes scientific research and Al Gore's facts, yet his own research does not go behind what he feels when he sticks his head out the front door.

Next time you write a letter, please have at least one true fact to back up your opinion. Nobody is completely positive about global warming. Maybe cleaner air and water will not reverse its effect. If that is the case, we have cleaner air and water for the consequence of being wrong. And as been proven many times, it is far cheaper to prevent a mess then to clean one up.
