Oh, Mr. President, where were you?

It was all over the news yesterday, including a headline in The Wall Street Journal which read, "Iraqis take control as U.S. troops withdraw from cities."

I have but one simple question. Did any of you see, read or hear about any sort of statement from our president? Don't you think that our commander-in-chief might spew a few words, thanking our military personnel for liberating yet another nation?

I certainly didn't. And not only am I deeply saddened, I am incredibly angry. Just think, three more years of articulate promises with no substance.
