Kane County

• Tommy L. Loveless, 43, of the 34W900 block of Springfield Street, St. Charles, was arrested at 11:05 a.m. Wednesday and charged with telephone harassment and criminal property damage, police said. Loveless is accused of making threatening telephone calls to a woman and burning her doll collection, according to a police report.

• A Gator Signature wake board valued at $400 was reported stolen Thursday from a vehicle on the 5N200 block of Bluff Drive, St. Charles Township, according to police.

• A Mio GPS and a Vector air compressor were among $350 in items reported stolen Thursday from a vehicle on the 12N900 block of Coombs Road, Elgin Township, police said.

St. Charles

• A total of $41 was reported stolen from a business on the 0-100 block of East Main Street between July 18 and 19, police said. The business was closed for the night at the time of the theft. A side door to the business had been forced open.

• Copper wire was cut from spools in the storage lot for the St. Charles Public Works Department on Devereaux Way between June 19 and 29, according to police. The fasteners to a fence on the west side of the lot were cut to gain access to the lot. The value of the wire taken is estimated at $2,400.

• Four tires and rims and a stereo with a total value of about $656 were stolen from a car parked at a dealership on the 2000 block of East Main Street between July 18 and 19, police said. The car was at the dealership for repairs.

• The letters for the entrance to the Pheasant Run subdivision were pried off a wall and rearranged between July 19 and 20, causing $200 in damage, according to a police report.

• Gang graffiti was found spray painted on the walls of two businesses on the 1600 block of West Main Street Tuesday, police said. There have been numerous graffiti complaints in that area depicting symbols of two rival gangs.

• Christine Mary Mrozek, 58, of the 1200 block of Lynnfield Lane in Bartlett, and Christine Louis Collura, 30, of the 2400 block of Anna Way in Elgin, were charged June 21 with retail theft, according to a police report. Store security at Kohl's, 3840 E. Main St., observed the pair fill two empty bags with various clothing items and then leave the store without paying for them. Mrozek was carrying a bag filled with about $138 worth of clothes. Collura was carrying a bag with about $163 worth of clothes.
