July 24

Friday Night Dodgeball: Register by Friday, July 24, for 5-6:15 p.m. Fridays, Aug. 7-21, Grayslake Park District Rec Center Gym, 240 Commerce Drive, Grayslake. Boys and girls ages 7-13 will split into equal teams and play dodgeball. No knowledge of the game is necessary. Wear comfortable clothes and gym shoes and bring a water bottle. Half-Day Sports Camp: 8:30-11:30 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, July 27 to Aug. 7, Grayslake Middle School, 440 Barron Blvd., Grayslake. For grades 1-5. Sports will include basketball, flag football, softball/baseball, dodgeball, fitness and more. Each camper must bring a snack and drink everyday, plus a swimsuit and towel. Full Day Sports Camp: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, July 27 to Aug. 7, Grayslake Middle School, 440 Barron Blvd., Grayslake. For grades 1-5. Nehara Hadassah Couples Bowling League: 8 p.m. on the fourth Saturday of every month beginning in August at Lakeside Lanes, 900 S. Lake, Mundelein. This league goes from August to May with a $25 payment every month per couple. Adult Fall Softball Leagues: Times vary, beginning the week of Aug. 26, Alleghany Park and/or the Aquatic Softball Field, Grayslake. Adults 18 and up can sign up to be part of an eight-week softball season. Coed teams will play Fridays and men's teams will play Wednesdays.
