Rummage sale: The Sisterhood of Congregation Beth Judea will host its Annual Rummage Sale from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, in the Beth Judea Social Hall. Beth Judea is located on Route 83 and Hilltop Road in Long Grove. The Sisterhood will be accepting gently used clothing and household goods beginning Sunday, July 26, through Friday, July 31. No items will be accepted during the day of the rummage sale. Tax receipts will be available. There will be an arts and crafts event from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and a cookie walk at noon. Entertainment will be provided by the Banjo Buddies Dixieland Jazz Trio. The prices are for full meal: $12 in advance and $13 at the door; for half meal: $10 in advance and $11 at the door; and for hot dog meal: $4 in advance and $5 at the door.
