Bulls finish summer league with win
The Bulls finished the Las Vegas summer league on a three-game winning streak after beating Minnesota 93-85 on Sunday. Rookie James Johnson had 18 points and 7 rebounds. In five summer games, the 6-foot-8 forward from Wake Forest averaged 16.6 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.6 assists, while shooting 40 percent from the field.
Guard Demarcus Nelson also had 18 points, while guard Anthony Roberson scored 15 for the Bulls (3-2). The team's other draft pick, Taj Gibson, skipped the last three games with a sore foot. Corey Brewer led the Timberwolves (1-4) with 20 points.
