Tell state to stop taxing, gambling
Enough is enough. I can remember when former Gov. Ogilvie first implemented the state income tax back around 1970. Since then in order to solve the state's financial problems the state has implemented the lottery, opened casinos and raised all the state fees such as license plates fees and taxes on cigarettes and alcohol. When will it ever end?
The public was told when the lottery was started that the lottery would solve all the state's financial needs. What a lie. Before taxes are raised state employee salaries should be lowered and illegal aliens extradited. State employees have better pension plans than 'most' employees in the private sector. Also, illegal aliens get free medical care at "Stroger hospital," free education for their children and food stamps. All courtesy of the Illinois taxpayer. Call your state legislators and tell them enough is enough before you are bankrupt.
