Obama like Sheriff of Nottingham
Mr. Gregory's interpretation of the political arena in the June 17 edition of Fence Post is a good example of exercising First Amendment rights.
However, Gregory's "new sheriff in town, Mr. Obama," may not be the Matt Dillon he suggests. Actions taken by "Matt Dillon" and his Congressional posse suggest that Robin Hood's Sheriff of Nottingham may be a better comparison.
The "redistribution of peasants' wealth" to Richard the Lion Hearted's evil half brother is right in line with Obama's "winds of change" and the multi-trillion dollar millstone being placed on this and future generations.
Unfortunately people with ideas like Gregory's may "rule the roost" for a while, but hopefully the "winds of change" do not turn into a major tornado and blow us all into oblivion.
