The United Methodist Women of Lindenhurst Trinity United Methodist Church are hosting their Annual Rummage Sale. Homemade bakery items will also be available.

Flea market: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 11, United Protestant Church of Grayslake, 54 S. Whitney St., Grayslake. Community members are invited to browse the outdoor sale for bargains on everything from kids' toys to furniture to kitchen items. Farmers market: 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Every Wednesday through Oct. 14, Our Lady of the Brook Catholic Community, 3700 Dundee, Northbrook. A weekly farmers market will feature dozens of vendors, selling fresh produce, flowers, organic foods, artisan cheeses, baked goods and more. Samples will be available. Used book sale: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, July 18, and noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 19, Indian Trails Public Library, 355 S. Schoenbeck Road, Wheeling. The Friends of the Indian Trails Public Library District will hold a used book sale, beginning with a members-only preview sale 5-8:30 p.m. Friday, July 17; membership dues are $3 for an individual or $6 for a family. Buffalo Grove Invitational Fine Art Festival: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, July 18 and 19, Buffalo Grove Town Center, intersection of Lake Cook Road and Route 83, Buffalo Grove. Approximately 150 artists working in various media will showcase their artwork and give visitors a chance to purchase their art. Admission is free. Young artists from ages 9-18 will also have a chance to showcase their artwork. Entertainment will include the Betty Haag Suzuki Academy from 4-5 p.m. Saturday and Limelight on Stage from 4-5 p.m. Sunday, among other musical acts.
