Glen Ellyn police are asking motorists to avoid Park Boulevard this afternoon as authorities clean up an incident in which a truck pulled down two utility poles.
Roughly 1,939 ComEd customers lost power due to the accident but the majority had been restored by 6:30 p.m.
A truck was traveling on Park near Sheehan Boulevard about 3:45 p.m. when it caught a low-hanging wire from a utility pole. It pulled down two poles and affected two more, according to police.
