Pay attention, upper middle class
As July 4th comes and goes, once again, I can't help but wonder, where have all the heroes gone? There was a time when men and women were willing to lose everything for the principles of individual life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Now, as America slowing tumbles down into the cesspool of massive government control, our upper middle class of hard working men and women instead hang on to their martini glasses and purposely ignore the dangerous outcome. July Fourth has almost become a laughable event.
I say upper middle class because this is the group that has the most to lose. The rich, they are probably too afraid to lose anything, so they would rather buy some artificial freedom, or power. The poor, they are either dependent on the government handouts or they are just basically too hungry to fight. The middle class better start to waken up. The walls of family vacations, sporting events, Big 10 colleges, and three-car garages some day will not be enough to distract from the terrible chains that are being prepared.
From the privately-owned Federal Reserve stealing our tax dollars to the Cap and Trade bill preparing to steal more money from us, to the advancement of the "hate crimes" bill that will limit all speech deemed not worthy by the elitist, our ability to move freely, speak freely and live in a country based on laws not political influence are being chipped away faster and faster and faster. Wake up you good men and women and face reality. Political parties do not matter - the speech is the same from both sides - and the president is only one man. Focus on the Congress and read the bills - even if congresspeople don't. Then fight. Call your legislators, join honest organizations and fund good candidates. Kick the bums out and keep the good ones (i.e. Ron Paul) in.
