Post Press Production merging with Specialties Binding

Elk Grove Village-based Post Press Production Inc., known as P3, announced it is merging with Specialties Binding Inc., also of Elk Grove Village. John Mascari Jr. has been named chief executive officer of P3 and SBI. He said the new company will offer an expanded service portfolio to customers, while allowing capacity to increase in order to produce millions of books per month. Mascari and Wayne Williams, current owner of SBI, will co-own the new company. P3, founded in 2004, is a bindery and bulk mailing company with 65 employees. The bindery employs 35 people who will transfer to the new facility. The mailing division will not be part of the merger and will remain as P3. The merged company will operate at the current SBI facility at 1100 Touhy Ave. in Elk Grove Village.
