Put taxes toward a worthy cause

It is amazing to me that Congress doesn't have any problems finding votes when it comes to providing funding for two unnecessary wars, but when it comes to providing funding for health care, that should be a fundamental right of all citizens, they don't have the votes. It seems to me that maybe it's time to really have a two-party system in this country.

We already have Republican and Republican Light. I believe it is time to get people in Congress that aren't bought and paid for by corporations that would rather see people die than to pay a claim. It seems to me that if you don't have insurance in this country and you get sick, you have two options, file bankruptcy or die.

Gee, what an option. When a health insurance premium for a relatively healthy family is equal to a mortgage payment there is a disconnect somewhere. I'm not asking for a handout. I would just like to see my tax dollars go for something worthy.
