NIU single-game tickets now on sale for football

Single game tickets for each of Northern Illinois' six 2009 home football games are now available for purchase.

Fans can order tickets on-line at niuhuskies.com or Ticketmaster.com, by calling Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000 or in person at the NIU Athletic Ticket Office in the Convocation Center. Tickets for individual games are priced at $20 for the general public, $15 for student guest tickets, senior citizens (62 and older) and youth (8th grade and younger).

Here's a look at the six-game home schedule"

Sept. 12: Western Illinois, at 6:30 p.m.

Sept. 26: University of Idaho, 2:30 p.m.

Oct. 3: Western Michigan (Homecoming), 2:30 p.m.

Oct. 31: Akron, 11 a.m. (NIU Hall of Fame)

Nov. 5: Eastern Michigan, 6:30 p.m.

Nov. 12: Ball State, TBD

In addition, Northern Illinois fans can now order tickets to road games at Wisconsin (Sept. 5) and Purdue (Sept. 19) through the NIU Athletic Ticket Office by calling 815-752-6800.

Full season tickets, as well as the three-game mini-plan, also are still available for purchase.
