A note of thanks for our many 'angels'

About two months ago, while in downtown Arlington Heights, I suddenly became dizzy, lost my balance and almost fell headfirst on the sidewalk.

At that point, a young lady helped me up, sat me on a bench, and then drove me home. I thanked her several times for her sympathy and kindness to someone she did not know and I probably will not see her again.

On behalf of all my fellow octogenarians, I want to express my appreciation and gratitude for the various ways we are helped when we are alone and need to leave home to do shopping and other errands.

I am sure there are many good Samaritans and angels all around us, we just don't see them until we are in need. I want to thank the young lady again, and although I do not know your name, you were my angel that day. Bless you and all our helpers.
