Police say stolen car hits CTA bus

Chicago police say nine people were injured when a stolen car struck a Chicago Transit Authority bus on the city's South Side.

Officers say the stolen car was spotted shortly before midnight Sunday and was being pursued by a squad car when it struck the bus.

The car's driver, a 17-year-old male, was taken to Stroger Hospital in good conditions.

Eight adult passengers from the bus were taken to four South Side hospitals -- all in good condition.
