Guided walks tour Millennium Park's Lurie Garden

• Guided walks of Millennium Park's Lurie Garden in Chicago are from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sundays through Sept. 20. These walks are free and led by a master gardener from the University of Illinois. Preregistration is not required. Visit millenniumpark.org.

Garden walks

• The Wheeling Garden Club hosts its 13th annual Garden Walk from 1 to 4 p.m. today, June 28. Eight homes in Wheeling will open their gardens to the public for a donation of $7. • Park Ridge Garden Club Garden Walk will be 2 to 6 p.m. today, June 28, 408 S. Lincoln, Park Ridge. It features six gardens plus a raffle and light refreshments. Tickets are $15. (847) 208-7269.

• Six gardens will be on display from 1 to 5 p.m. today, June 28, in the third annual Naperville Garden Walk and Reception. All gardens are within walking distance of each other and are near Royce Road and Apple River Drive. A reception with a silent auction, raffle, games and entertainment will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. at DuPage River Park, 808 Royce Road, Naperville. Donation is $50 per person, with proceeds going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. • The Rolling Meadows Garden Club shows off seven gardens from noon to 4 p.m. today, June 28. Tickets are $15; available at the Rolling Meadows Historical Society's 1950s house, 3100 Central Road.

• Antioch Garden Club will show off seven private gardens plus public gardens around town that its members care for. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. July 17, and the $25 ticket price includes lunch. Tickets for July 18 are $15 in advance and $18 after July 1 for the gardens alone. Available at the State Bank of Antioch, 440 Lake St. On the day of the walk they will be available at the private gardens, including the one at 852 Mockingbird Lane in Heron Harbor subdivision. • The Unique Boutique and six gardens will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 19 in Arlington Heights. Walk and raffle tickets are available after July 4 at the Arlington Heights Historical Museum, 110 W. Fremont St. They will also be sold there the day of the walk.
