Lobby for kind of health care you want

Congress will be determining the type of health care reform that we will be receiving. Congress members are the fortunate few left in this country with an excellent health care plan paid for by us, the American citizens. I believe each and every member of Congress should have to apply for and purchase their own health care plan and see what it is actually like to have to do that.

If you have any health condition or take any type of long-term medication they will most likely refuse coverage or exclude the coverage you need.

Deductibles are now so high that even people with insurance will forego needed health care because they cannot afford it.

We need to fix health care in our country. We spend more for less than any industrialized nation. People in other countries are shocked that American citizens can go bankrupt due to medical bills.

Congress is looking to please the lobbyists who line their pockets instead of the citizens who voted them into office.

Contact your representative and your senators and let them know you want single payer or government option health care on the table with the plans offered by the for-profit insurance companies. If we do nothing we will end up with a plan full of loopholes made by and for the benefit of those insurance companies like Medicare Part D.
