'A Walk In The Park'
Like spending a day surrounded by art and artists? Don't miss the 2009 "A Walk in the Park," the Arlington Heights Art Guild's much-anticipated summer art fair.
When: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Aug. 23.
Where: North School Park, Eastman Street and Arlington Heights Road.
What: A juried fine arts featuring local artists plus artists from around the Midwest. They work in a variety of mediums: Sculpture, painting, ceramics, photography and jewelry. Free admission.
What else? Live music, ice cream, catered refreshments.
