Electoral College belongs in trash

While wading through about a Dumpster full of political material that I have been promising myself to dispose of for months, I ran across a stack of papers, 23 pages stapled together. It was titled "Electoral College (United States)." Now it seems that at a Constitutional Convention in 1787 someone thought this was a great idea. Was it? Selective campaigning, in the areas with great numbers of electoral votes, gave us the pretender that we now have in D.C. As it is, small states with micro representation are cut out of the electoral process, and yet when the glorious leader does something stupid, which is a probability, not a possibility, they are bound to comply by law.
