Bulls' Deng to receive award
Bulls forward Luol Deng will be honored today during the Midwest Light of Human Rights Awards at the Fairmont Hotel. He'll receive an award for dedication to human rights through his charitable foundation, which has provided aid to Sudanese refugees in the U.S. and Africa. Deng and his family left their native Sudan years ago to escape a civil war and eventually settled in London.
Also, The Bulls will host 11 draft prospects at the Berto Center this weekend, including Louisville forward Earl Clark and Gonzaga forward Austin Daye. The Bulls hold the Nos. 16 and 26 picks in the June 25 NBA draft.
