If nothing else, we are well-trained
Ah, it's good the elections are over! The park district has reduced the number of trash cans in Cronin Park to one again. Overflowing on Saturday morning in the middle of the park.
On a more general note, this town has been fairly trash free. I suspect there are two reasons for this:
1. Mayor Daley the First put a trash can on every corner in Chicago and stated "thou shall not litter." Most of us have been trained in Chicago.
2. In the past we traveled around the town primarily in cars with a little trash bag. In the future we may be walking or bicycling around the town without a trash bag.
