TriCity Lobster fundraiser:

Orders are due Monday, June 15 for TriCity Family Services annual lobster sale. Fresh, 20-ounce lobsters are being flown in for pickup from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 20 at the Kane County Courthouse parking lot, Fourth and James streets, in Geneva. Cost is $20. The lobsters can be purchased live, or you can have TriCity steam them. Order at tricityfamilyservices.org.

Register for fall classes:

Open registration for summer and fall credit classes at Elgin Community College will continue until classes start, space permitting. Summer classes begin Monday, June 15, and also the weeks of June 29 and July 13. Fall, 16-week classes begin the week of Aug. 24; 12-week classes begin the week of Sept. 21; and eight-week classes begin the week of Oct. 19. Early registration is advised. Students with an ECC identification number can register online at elgin.edu/accessecc. Otherwise, registration may be made in person at the registration center in Room 165 of the Student Resource Center, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin. The registration center is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The college is closed Fridays through Aug. 7. Students will be expected to provide proof of having met course prerequisites, if documentation is not already on file with the ECC records office. Students with outstanding financial obligations to the college may not register until all bills are settled. For details, visit elgin.edu/register.
