Blago joins cast of 'Rod Blagojevich Superstar'
Ousted Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich claims that while he was still in office, he liked to call up the Chicago Cubs coaching staff and give pitching advice.
Or at least that's what he told actors during a Saturday guest appearance on The Second City's "Rod Blagojevich Superstar."
The ex-governor introduced the show that lampoons his political rise and fall and watched it for the first time.
After about an hour of being mocked as greedy, cut throat and hair-obsessed, he returned for an improv portion after the show.
Blagojevich told stories of his time in office. Actors then used the stories as prompts for skits while Blagojevich watched them unfold.
The former governor has pleaded not guilty to federal corruption charges.
