Search suspended in Pa. for missing Del. kayaker
WEST CHESTER, Pa.-- The search has been suspended for the body of the second of two brothers who died in a kayaking accident in southeastern Pennsylvania.
Authorities say 34-year-old Rev. Chad Miller, of Wilmington, Del., a native of Sandwich, Ill., was with his brother on rain-swollen Brandywine Creek in Birmingham Township in Philadelphia's western suburbs when the two plunged over a four-foot dam about 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Rescuers located 28-year-old Christopher Miller, of Yonkers, N.Y., and took him to Chester County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Crews suspended their search Wednesday for Chad Miller. Officials say he is presumed dead.
Chad Miller was the pastor of missions and youth at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Wilmington.
