A judge more radical than Souter?

Sonia Sotomeyer, nominated by President Obama to the U.S. Supreme Court, said in a speech at the University of California Law School, "I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experience would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life." But isn't this to be expected from a member of La Raza, a racist Hispanic group. Can you imagine the hullabaloo that would ensue if a white male nominee had said something like that to claim that white males could make better decisions than others?

Then, to top that, she claims that judges make policy - our elected officials aren't necessary anymore. It is hard to believe, but it looks like Obama has found a replacement for Justice Souter who is more radical than Souter.
