Here are more garden walks blooming throughout the suburbs this summer.
June 12-13
The Geneva Experience features five gardens open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 12 and 13. Tickets are $15 in advance and $17 the days of the event. The Garden Boutique will be in the Geneva History Center, 113 S. Third St. Call (630) 232-9181 or visit genevagardenclub.com.
June 13-14
The McLake Pond Tour will have as many as 50 ponds and gardens in Lake and McHenry counties open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 13 and 14. Visit wyldcreek.com or call Wyld Creek Inc. at (847) 587-2744.
June 18
Six Woodstock Gardens are featured from 1-7 p.m. June 18. The price is $13 in advance at several local businesses and $15 at the Stage Left Cafe next to the Woodstock Opera House on the square on June 18. The sponsor is Woodstock Professional & Business Women. Call (815) 338-2000 or visit wpbw.org.
June 27
Five Wayne gardens are open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 27 courtesy of the Wayne Countryside Garden Club. Advance tickets are $12 at several businesses. On June 27, tickets will be $15 at one of the gardens, 33W262 Ashley Lane. Vendors will set up at the Dunham Woods Riding Club, 33 W 33 Army Trail Road, Wayne. Call (630) 497-0186.
June 28
The Rolling Meadows Garden Club shows off seven gardens from noon to 4 p.m. June 28. Advance tickets for $10 are available at the Community Center, 3705 Pheasant Drive, June 15- 26. They cost $15 the day of the walk and will be available at the Rolling Meadows Historical Society's 1950s house, 3100 Central Road. Call (847) 818-3200; ext. 230, through June 26.
The Wheeling Garden Walk is 1-4 p.m. June 28 at seven homes. The donation is $7, and maps are available at the first garden, 126 Mayer Ave. Call (847) 909-0335.
July 17
Antioch Garden Club will show off seven private gardens plus public gardens around town that its members care for. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. July 17, and the $25 ticket price includes lunch. Tickets for July 18 are $15 in advance and $18 after July 1 for the gardens alone. They will be available at the State Bank of Antioch, 440 Lake St. On the day of the walk they will be available at the private gardens, including the one at 852 Mockingbird Lane in Heron Harbor subdivision. July 19
The Unique Boutique and six gardens will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 19 in Arlington Heights. Walk and raffle tickets are available after July 4 at the Arlington Heights Historical Museum, 110 W. Fremont St. They will also be sold there the day of the walk. The Men's Garden Club of Villa Park has a catchy name, but they really have women members, too. Their free walk is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 19. Call (847) 331 6233 or visit homegardening.org.
July 18, 29 and 25
The Midwest Pond & Koi Society opens ponds in different areas on different dates. On July 18, ponds in the following towns will be open: Arlington Heights, Addison, Carol Stream, Elgin, Des Plaines, Glendale Heights, Glenview, Kildeer, Mount Prospect, Morton Grove, Niles, Northbrook, Palatine, Prospect Heights, Roselle, Schaumburg and Streamwood.
On July 19, ponds in Chicago and close in communities, including Oak Brook, will be featured.
Then on July 25, ponds will be open in Aurora, Batavia, Bolingbrook, Downers Grove, Geneva, Lisle, Naperville, Oswego, Plainfield, St. Charles, Warrenville, Wheaton and Woodridge.

Aquascape, a St. Charles-based company, shows 67 ponds throughout the Chicago area from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 25 and 26. Tickets benefit Aquascape Foundation, which helps people in developing areas harvest and use rainwater. Visit aquascapedesigns.com.
